- As an artist and/or creative, what do you consider your forte in the
work you do?
I am interdisciplinary almost to a fault- ‘Jack of all trades’ is a very accurate cliché to describe me. My passion is in large scale, hands-on installations, creative rigging, recycled materials, and just making the best out of what we’ve got and utilizing the space allotted! Latex balloon installations are what I’m most known for - painting, sculpture, paper, vinyl, fabrics, foam, wood structures, building materials… if you can hold it in your hands, I’m sure I’ve worked with it before!
- How long have you considered yourself a professional artist?
10 years
- What is your hope for the future?
My hope is for all artists to be valued as a staple to our progress as humanity, and thereby erasing the stigma of the “starving artist” through appreciation, compensation, and recognition!
- What are you working on now?
Survival. And trying to sharpen my digital capabilities - that is the one medium that has never come naturally to me. Never too late to learn!
